About the Assessment

The Build This Town Campaign has received funding from the Missouri Foundation for Health and USDA to conduct a Community Food Assessment. The purpose of the assessment is to better understand community health and the food environment in Boone County. It is our hope that that the information from this process will inform projects that improve the regional food environment via increased availability, access and utilization of healthful foods. The results of this study will inform future programming at the Agriculture Park and can be used by local organizations to address food needs across the community. As the Community Food Assessment moves forward we will publish results and updates on this webpage.

The Assessment's Progress
